About Cove Roadside Assistance
Cove offers Roadside Assistance, as an optional extra, that can be added to any car insurance policy when it is purchased, or via MyCove at any time.
If your car breaks down, your Cove policy will cover the costs of getting roadside help to get your car moving again.
Cove Roadside Assist offers two call outs a year.

24/7 Service
When you add Roadside Assistance onto your Cove policy, you have the the assurance that help will be available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
NZ-based Call Centre
Simply call Cove on 0800 268 347 (and select option #2) and you’ll connect to a NZ-based owned and operated call centre that will take your details and will talk you through how to get you back on the road.
Phone Support
With our roadside assistance extra, the team can also assist with common vehicle issues by troubleshooting over the phone. This could help get you back on the road sooner without waiting for our arrival!
No Excess
When making a roadside assistance call, your policy excess does not apply to this service.
A 24-hour standdown period applies to this benefit when purchased. After this time, you will have a maximum of two call outs during a 12-month period.
